Not a bad idea. There would have to be a shitload of them of course. :-)
I once had an acquaintance who swore the paper from a bible made the best rolly papers.

A thought ; are copies of the Quran left in hotels in Muslim countries?

Another mass shooting in the US today.

I find it difficult to think of the pro-gun lobby as anything other than a loose grouping that deals in propaganda and alternate facts.

I am beginning to wander though, that if guns are ONLY in the hands of religious, ideological or political extremists, what the eventual outcome might be. ????

The solution is simple enough, mandate that having religious, ideological or political extremist views is a form of mental illness and they are prohibited from having guns.
The meaning of your life, is what you choose to make it.

But, but, but... according to Donnie Dicko -
“Knives, knives, knives, knives,” [mimicking a stabbing motion]
"I recently read a story that in London, which has unbelievably tough gun laws, a once very prestigious hospital right in the middle is like a war zone for horrible stabbing wounds. They don’t have guns. They have knives, and instead there’s blood all over the floors of this hospital.”
Hmmmm... Well I guess he mightn't be telling quite the god's-honest-truth there... he said he recently "read" which sounds... somewhat doubtful.

It is true that those personality types that would offer gun violence resort to knife violence when guns are not available. But is takes considerably longer to slaughter masses with only a knife, compared to say -an assault rifle. But gunshot wounds often bleed profusely, if the victim is still alive. it depends on the type of bullet, impact energy, impact site, range, and so on.
Something like a "50-cal" 12.7mm medium machine gun round will often just vaporise the person.
