    Oz is gradually being trumpified.

The bit where honouring veterans gets used as a means of devaluing First Peoples' recognition? Pure villainy.

The Morrison Government is stupid and cruel, but I’m not giving in to it
The government in charge of our nation has been keeping us in line through corruption, greed and bullying, but it's time to say “no more”.

But these aren’t normal times. Australia is afflicted with a do-nothing PM who is more concerned with spin than substance. It’s no wonder Morrison hasn’t acted — to do so would require taking a moral stand, something our faux-Christian PM has proven repeatedly to be incapable of.

    Pope: infallible again.

And in Wren's week for 24 November 2019:
the Coalition's neglect of the climate crisis, its desire to have people work to 70 and beyond, and Westpac's 23 million breaches of the law.
    Plus:
Think Churchill“we will fight them on the beaches” – or more recently NZ’s PM Jacinda Ardern after the Christchurch Mosque shootings. Both brought their people together at a time they needed it the most. Morrison of course, not being a leader, could not.
    and
Many of our elderly have worked and paid taxes all their live with the full expectation that the Government would keep its covenant with them and look after them when they retire, with decent pensions, healthcare and so on.

Frydenberg is warming up to breach that covenant and tell they can’t retire they’ll have to keep working. The question remains, with the economy tanking and real unemployment at very high levels, where are these jobs going to come from?
There's more. Fuck knows, you'll never run out of reasons to be outraged with Scummo and his chums in the driving seat.

The COAL-ition says exports are too important for our economic health for us to take proper action on climate change. But here we are, bushfires and drought are among the reason the precious surplus (use Golum voice "my PRECIOUSSSS) has been slashed. Wasn't there also a coal mine which saw its efficiency and therefore profit fall as a result of the drought, i.e. climate change. Prepare to see much more economic destruction wreaked by climate change, much worse than losing a few coal dollars.
